Canção Nova is a community of life and alliance founded by Monsignor Jonas Abib in the city of Queluz, São Paulo - Brazil on February 2, 1978. The Community is made up of all states of life: singles, couples, priests, and celibate. The community was born from the call made in Pope Paul VI's Apostolic Exhortation Evangelii Nuntiandi for evangelization.
