Founded in 2012 by media veteran Mavis Albertina, who has over 50 years of industry experience, the station officially launched its operations in May 2014. It stands out as the only "edutainment" channel in Curaçao, focusing on a mission to boost the country’s economic and social well-being through a mix of education and entertainment.

What really sets Nos Pais Television apart from other regional stations is that 70% of its content is produced in-house. Instead of relying heavily on shows imported from the U.S. or elsewhere, the network creates its own original programming covering news, business, sports, culture, and education.
